There are opportunities to obtain funding through research studentships which offer a tax-free stipend of at least £12,940 p.a. for 3 years, plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. For well-qualified overseas graduates studentships will cover the overseas fees. Applicants will need to hold or expect to gain at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering or science discipline (with evidence of 1st Class performance in key subject areas).
